Today i visited the exhibition ‘WALKING IN MY MIND’ in Hayward Gallery.
The weather was good.
It was a nice day to go to museum :-)
This exhibition's concept is ‘what goes on inside of artist's head’
10 artists show their idea, feeling and secret in their mind.
My favorite work is Yoshitomo Nara's one.
Actually I've been a fan of his work since I went to his exhibition in Japan.
So i was really happy to see his work in London.
His work is a small house.
And there is a lot of tiny equipment which he made in the house.
I could see a room from outside.
but I couldn't enter inside.
Why I like this work is that his sense of humor is brilliant.
For example, he put japanese traditional playing cards(Karuta) on the desk.
There are some japanese words in these cards.
But these words don't work properly.
Another example is one of his drawing on the wall.
he drew a girl and japanese letter.
This japanese letter means ‘I drew it!’
He declared to illustrate by himself!!!!!
And although his work impress me lovely,
I found a can of beer‘BECK’ at the corner.
Can you understand ????
It is a bit difficult to understand his humor.
Because he often show it in Japanese.
However I want to tell you that he makes really funny work.
It's not only cute :-9
