This is my artwork which called 'Distressed Love.' It's just literal meaning that you can see in my first painting above. In this piece, you can clearly understand what I want to show to my viewers. And the concept of this picture came from my best friend who just broke up with her boy friend last weekend. On last weekend, my friend called me, and we chatted on phone for almost three hours at night. She sadly told me about her entire heartbreaking love story. She also told me her feeling of love. She said love is a complicated and hard thing that might makes people feel delighted and also sorrowful. After we finished our three hours talking, the idea suddenly came out in my head and made me want to use painting to fathom her feeling. And tried to use simple stroke to accomplish this artwork. This was also my intention to simplify the involved emotion of my friend. Moreover, you can see the bandager who was holding a fuming heart and shedding tears in the meantime. That symbol of heartbreaker. And that's what I want to show to my viewers. However, this picture really makes my heart ache and feels sorry for my friend. And after I finished this work, I thought the effect of my painting was better than I thought, so I love my artwork. Furthermore, I also hope my viewers will have the same feeling as I do when they are appreciating my work and like my work.
